In 2018, Jason Van Sickle moved from Wichita (Kansas) to Denver to start a nonprofit called the Civic Health Coalition (CHC). CHC's mission is to use innovations in Data Science to solve social problems. Its first initiative focused on using Jason's expertise in housing development to help solve the nation's affordable housing crisis.
Prior to CHC, Jason built a career in real estate where he gained expertise in housing research and analysis, real estate development, and property management. Over the course of his career, he combined his knowledge into a model for multifamily housing. CHC has taken that model and created a comprehensive plan for nonprofit affordable housing.
The purpose of this website is to provide a clear and concise overview of the housing model that CHC has created. CHC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that focuses on developing and sharing information to help communities solve social problems. All of the resources on this site are open-source and available for anyone to use.
